Open Up To Possibility

It is easier to live in fear at times it seems.  Trusting that our life will be provided for is often more difficult than we think it is.

Knowing that we are where we need to be on our path at this one moment in time, takes courage and faith.

Life is not meant to be given over to worry every day.  It is about searching our innermost self and becoming more aware and conscious.

It is about tapping into the source of unlimited abundance and knowing that as we find our way, everything will be there when we need it.

Trusting that we are connected to much more than we know is the key, so we open up to possibility.  Asking and seeking, we will find that which is greater than our own life.

Life is about stepping into our worries and fears, looking for that connection to all that there is.

It is about grasping courage by the hand and seeing the world through the eyes of a child.

It is about opening our heart up in service to the world, rather than shrinking in worry and fear.

http://mindbodythoughts.blogspot.com/2015/12/can-i-do-this.html

The more we open up to all life has to give, the more we will find it.  The more we close our mind and heart, the more difficult our struggle.

It is in this moment that all the possibility exists in our life.  Let us open our eyes so we will notice, feel, and see everything that is in our existence at this moment in time.

Doom And Gloom Worry

If I am not careful, I find my mindset going into an area I would rather not travel.  It is easy for me to see a situation and think all is doom and gloom.

In my mind, it feels like the end of the world or like I will not get through the situation I face.

Worry comes easy for me during this doom and gloom thinking.  In fact, I can hold my ground with the best if it was a competition of worry.

I was taught how to do this all my life and I had some excellent teachers.  Unfortunately to unlearn these behaviors of worry, it is much more difficult.

I am doing better these days with worry during doom and gloom thinking.  I am able to stop myself quicker so that I can see a different route to take in situations.

Instead of trying to do everything on my own, I am learning to ask for help from the universe and angels.

The more I heal my life, the more I see that there are options beyond worrying about a situation.

http://mindbodythoughts.blogspot.com/2014/12/when-life-becomes-worry.html

Sure, it is easy for me to get swallowed up by the events of my day, but I am learning that I have a choice.  I don't have to go down the route of doom and gloom thinking.  I can choose differently.  It is all up to what I allow into my life.

Source Of Worry and Contentment

Being content is essential for finding your way forward in life.  When you worry, you disconnect yourself from the source.  Worry takes you out of the flow.  It lowers your energetic vibration and brings you down into the vibration level of lack and not having enough.

Do not only focus on worry in your life.  While it is important not to worry, you must heal yourself from the core.  Uncovering the source of worry will then allow you through consciousness to choose a different course of action in your life.  Going to the root of the issue, allows you to remove the power source.  It is when you do this, that your energetic vibration will increase.

Being content in life is a surrender into who you are as an individual.  It is allowing yourself to touch your own soul, rather than engaging your ego.  Your ego loves worry and misery, but your soul loves contentment and peace.  Your mind only engages that which you feed it.

It is all up to you to choose what you will do or the changes you will make in your life.  It becomes a journey within, discovering all of who you are, not what you have been in the past.  Being content gives you the option of seeing possibility in life and empowering greatness.

Allow possibility to build and flow from within your core existence.  As you connect within, so too will you find an unstoppable power for your life.

Be In This Moment

Sometimes I get nervous.  Sometimes I freak out.  While good stuff is happening for me, there are times that I see the struggle to get where I need to go and it is like I feel that I'm never going to get there.  I see the difficult moments add up and the next thing I know, I'm walking out that door.

Yet, I know that especially in the beginning of starting something new, things aren't always going to go smooth and as planned.  There are growing pains, adjustments, and challenges.  All of these will be met in one way or another.  I get that.  It is just sometimes not easy.

For me, I keep learning that I am right where I need to be.  Things are happening just as they need to be in this moment, even if I can't see the complete journey ahead. They are there even if I struggle to see they are there.

If I begin to ask the right questions and discover all that I can, then I am in the frame of mind that I need to be.  If I take a deep breath and just allow myself to be in this moment today, then I will find the next moment.

Worrying about what I need to do and where I need to be or how I will get there will drive me crazy.  I just need to be okay with being in this moment that I have today.  Nothing else is where I need to be.  If I don't fight it, I will find the next thing and the next thing after that.

When Life Becomes Worry

I've been in this place so many times in my life.  In high-school, I was admitted in my senior year because of what they initially thought was appendicitis.  Later, just in the nick of time before surgery was to take place, they realized it was nothing more than an ulcer.  Okay, nothing more than an ulcer sounds minimizing.

When life becomes worry, its difficult.  I know.  I've been there.  When life becomes worry, it isn't easy to find the way out or the door that opens to a world beyond this.  Life becomes a big giant that can be slain with a small stone, but is often so fearful and large that we run for cover.

Of course later on in life, I never learned how to get rid of worry and so I would get headaches (migraines) and all kinds of stomach issues and I even ended up going all the way to holding stuff in so much that I went through a Conversion Disorder.

Allow Things To Fall Into Place

Allow Things To Fall Into Place
Sometimes I am such a good worrier that I really mess life up.  For me to wait for things to fall in place is like asking a politician to tell the truth.  Yet, politicians aside, I am trying to teach myself that worrying is not going to get me very far.

You see, the more I worry about things, the more I hinder things from happening in my life.  It is like I choke off the blood supply and watch it die a slow and painful death.  I do this to myself as I'm sure many others do and no matter how much I try to avoid it, I seem to revert back to my old patterns.  I curse them, but I embrace them.

On the other hand, I notice that if I don't worry about what is taking place, an unusual thing happens.  It appears that if I quit hindering stuff in my life and manifesting abundance, that in all reality, I open myself up to a flow of manifestation that I didn't know existed.  Once I step out of the way and let go, things fall into place.

Corey The Orange Cat - Don't Worry

Corey The Orange Cat - Don't Worry
Corey The Orange Cat says "Don't Worry".   He realizes it is easy to worry about things we cannot control, but at the end of the day, worry gets you no further.  What you can act on, do it.  What you cannot act on, set it aside for another day that you can do something about it.  Worry just depletes our energy and knocks us off of our path. - Corey The Orange Cat

Its Hard Not To Worry

I know this is an issue I've been working on all my life.  For me, it is much easier to worry than it is to breathe!  I'm being honest here.  I can worry with the best of them and probably would win a medal if there was a competition.  Of course, I don't say this to make light of the issue, but I'm trying to make a point that I know its hard not to worry.

In the past couple of years, finances have been a struggle.  I've had some great challenges and how I have overcome them, I am not sure I could articulate it accurately.  Worry has been at the height of my existence though which leads to anxiety and fear along with doom and gloom.  It is hard not to worry.  Maybe for others, this isn't a big deal, but it is for me.

Even through the past month or two, I've seen opportunities arise that came out of the blue.  I didn't expect them, but they showed up.  Time and time again it showed me that I was not alone out there and the less I worried, the more things happened.  Of course, it meant that as I gave up the old patterns of worry in my life, my ego said, "whoa baby - just exactly what do you think you are doing here?"  I mean after all, my mind is so used to the neural pathways that fire together and focus on lack, rather than unlimited abundance.  It is like a beloved and hated twin part of myself.  It is like the more I move forward, the more I give up a part of my life that feels like without it, I cannot function.

Worry And Stress In Our Life

In times of worry and stress in our life we need to stop and take notice of all that is happening.  When we let go of these moments in our life, we find that it is a moment of gratitude, not a moment of despair.  Often we are so busy forcing our life into one mold, rather than living the life that we hold in that moment.  Let us look at this current moment and honor it with our attention, respect, and awareness. - Don Shetterly

Believe In The Answers Within Me

Lately, it seems like some events in my life are happening at lightening speed.  If I am not careful and not watching for them, they can pass me buy without me noticing them.  It is interesting to observe and be part of in my life.  However, I find myself worrying about needless little moments and the minute I do, I feel the pains in my neck and arm show up full force.

All my life, I've been a worrier.  I worry about the good things, the bad things, and the things in between the good and bad.  No matter how much is proven to me that I do not need to worry, sometimes I feel like it is my profession and I'm at the top of my class.  Okay, I may be a little fictitious here, but in many ways, this is reality.

However, as I have been seeing lately, that what I allow my mind to focus upon, that is what begins to come together.  Maybe it is the fact that I don't want to believe I have the power within myself to create any part of my life.  All I have to do though, is look at the evidence from my past days and years.  It is sometimes hard for me to believe in myself even if the evidence smacks me in the face.

Happiness And Abundance

So many times, I see people trying to play the field of one side or the other in life. Many feel that you have to be happy, abundant and worry free to really have life under control. In many circles, there is an expectation that if you are spiritual, than you really need to be worry free and wealthy.

If everyone tomorrow had a million dollars, it could be easy to assume we are all wealthy. After all, a million dollars is a lot of money to most people. However, if everyone had a million dollars, no one would feel wealthy because it would change the economic structure of our world in a drastic way.

In the case of happiness, if everyone had absolutely no worries and were completely happy, how would we know it? If we did not know what it was to be "sad" , how would we see the difference and know that we were happy?

Much goes for grief and death versus birth and life. It is hard to have one without the other. There is a time of creation and a time of destruction. There is a time of busyness and a time of rest. However, if you have one without the other, we would not be able to tell the difference.

I hate the thought that anyone should have to suffer, be poor or go through the heartaches and horrible moments that we do. I've been through plenty in my life and at one time, I lost everything that was anything in my life. However, without going through those times, I would not be where I am today or experiencing the things that I am.

In many ways, abundance and happiness are about embracing poverty and sadness. It is about acceptance in that to have one, there must be some experience of the other side. While we want to think happy thoughts and proclaim that abundance is what you should seek, I think we are missing out on some of the greatest moments of life.

The greatest moments do not come in where we are currently at in our life. Our greatest moments come from how we have endured and what we have learned on our journey. What we have gleaned from life is our abundance and the moments of enjoyment in life, is our happiness.

Holding On and Not Letting Go

One of the things that I struggle with in life is letting go. I learned from my mom that people can hold a grudge. I loved my mom but it is one of the traits that she taught me and one of the hardest parts of myself that I give up at times.

I doubt I'm alone in this so I thought I would share a Buddhist story I've heard. I have no idea where this comes from but it is my best recollection of what I have heard before. If this is the work of some author, please let me know who you are and I will credit you for this.

Here's what I remember of the little story about letting go that I heard.

Two monks were traveling along the countryside and came to a river. A lady was afraid to cross the river alone and so she asked the monks if they could carry her across. One monk quickly said yes and put her on his shoulders as he crossed the river. When he got to the other side, he put her down and continued on his way.

As they walked along, the other monk was fuming and brooding about what had just happened. He began to question the other monk. Stating to the other monk that they had taken a vow to never touch a women and how could he pick the woman up and carry her without feeling shame and guilt for what he had done.

Finally the other monk looked at the one who was struggling with this issue and said, "I set her down on the other side of the river. Why are you still carrying her?"

What a great story to help teach us how to let go. A friend of mine was talking about this to me the other day and it helped remind me of just how much I hold on to in life at times. May we all be like the other monk that set the woman down and continued his own walk. May I continually remind myself to set the woman down and continue my own walk each and every day.

Release Worry And Fear

There are many things I am worried about in life. From my finances, to friendships and my professional life, there are nonstop flights to worry land every day.

I feel as if I do not have the strength to continue. My body feels tired and weary to continue the fight. Self confidence is at an all time low in my mind. Yesterday was one of the lowest moments I can remember.

In addition, I feel so all alone. The little things in life get magnified a thousand times. It seems there is little hope to find my way through what I am experiencing. The darkness of the difficult moments haunt my life.

My body feels worn down and bruised to the bone. It feels like I have nowhere to turn or anyone to turn to that may help me. I feel as if I have to walk alone through this part of my journey. There is no road map. There are no directions. The manual for my life cannot be found.

Once again though, I keep getting reminded that I need to release my resistance to what I am experiencing. Oh, how that sounds like something I need in my life. It sounds almost like music to my ears. With doubt and trepidation, I fully want to embrace this with a hug. Yet, all I see is a porcupine with long needles sticking out.

For me to release worry, I wonder how someone actually makes this happen. What are the secrets? What does one actually do to release worry? If only I had the answers. If only I knew what I needed to do.

I cling to all that I do not want in my life out of an overabundance of fear. Fear is all I seem to know. Fear is my currency and my wealth in life. Fear is my abundance.

Even as badly as I want to release worry in my life, I feel as if I would be cutting off the flow of sustenance to my life. It is frightening and difficult to think that a world without worry could exist. It seems like a fantasy! It does not seem real!

So the question I ask of myself today, is how do I release worry? What steps do I take? Where is the book describing this process?

All I know to do in this moment is to continue my search to understand how to release fear (opps, I mean worry. Did I just write fear?). Maybe the key is in my mistake of words. Maybe it isn't worry that I need to release but the fears I need to let go in my life.

Would that not be a shocker if fear was the root cause of my worry? Have I not heard this lesson before in my life? Have I not cursed these difficult steps in previous days? Of course, I know the answers to these questions I ask.

Maybe I just need to stop and acknowledge my fears. Maybe I need to realize my fears are very alive right now and are trying to take over my life. In fact, they are doing a very good job of it at this moment.

Then, if I can see and describe my fears, maybe I will fully recognize them when they appear. If I can recognize them, then I can begin to close the door on them, not giving them access to my life. If I stop giving them access to my life, then maybe I will begin to release the fears. As I release the fears, I will be removing the energy of worry that is paralyzing my life.

It all seems easy to accomplish. However, I know how difficult it is to identify and let go of the fears. Until I allow myself to have the courage to do this, my fears and my worry will control my life.

I know this is what I need to do, and I feel my feet shaking and my body trembling. May I find the courage to face my fears. May I find the strength within myself to stand on my shaking feet. May I have the wisdom to find my way through these difficult moments.

Why Do I Worry?

If I spend 99% of my time in worry, I will have very little time left to make things happen.

I will end up exhausted and staring into space rather than moving myself forward.

So, why do I worry? What does it profit me?

What do I gain from spending more of my time doing something that gets me nowhere rather than using that time to propel me into my dreams?

Surrender Into Acceptance

Acceptance of all things in life is not always easy. In fact, for me, it is often difficult. I can easily give lip service that I do accept and allow all things but in reality, it isn't that easy. It sometimes is difficult to match words with actions.

I tend to worry a lot and so badly want to be the one that makes everything happen. It may be a throwback when my life seemed like it was not under my control. In fact, I'm sure my life was controlled by others, not by me for a very long time. So now, I have learned to compensate for this in my life by trying to control many aspects of my day.

The only thing is that I give myself a false illusion that I am really controlling all these parts of my life. it robs me of so much precious energy. It keeps a protective distance to the unfamiliar. It gives me an imbalance that I rarely take note of. it is like the magician doing his magic act where one event occurs while the eyes are being tricked to see something else.

Yet, life has tied to teach me in many ways to accept things. It has shown me that worry gets me nowhere. Even though these lessons have been numerous in my life, I still forget them. They are my teachers that I have long forgotten. Of course, I have made progress in this area but I still desire to control everything about my life. It is a beloved and hated twin that I desire to flee from.

Now, I'm left to wonder how it is that I can change my current mode of worry into acceptance of what is. I know it has to be more than saying to myself that I'm going to do this. I know that acknowledging it is a helpful step but again how do I spot the lion before it is at the moment of attack. These are million dollar questions. Just like in one movie, an actor states that the secret to life is this one thing. Of course for each person, it is different and each person has to figure it out for themselves.

Maybe one step I could take is by giving myself the option of noticing when I am worrying and trying to control everything in my life. That may be a very tall order but in order to change something, one has to recognize it exists. Until there is recognition, one remains in the dark.

Maybe another step I could take is that when I recognize that I am doing this, I could state the word "accept" to my mind's ear. If my ears heard this, hopefully my brain and subconscious mind would listen to it. At a minimum, a different option would be available that could provide a different experience to me.

Just recognizing the fears I feel and the connections to past moments of my life may help allow me to surrender into acceptance. For if I run from these parts of my life, I know that it is as if I'm running in place. My legs may be moving, but I'm not going anywhere.

Asking the angels (or the universe or my higher self) to help and assist in this, may offer significant strength in my endeavor. It may be the catalyst of source energy that will transcend any effort I could put forth.

In the end, surrender is the key. How I get there is my journey. Each part of it may be difficult at times, but it is full of value to my life. To not experience all of this would be robbing my life of so much. For all these things are who I am. They are my teachers. They are my freedom, my awareness and my growth.

The Destination Is Our Intention

What we focus on with our intentions is the direction that we travel. Just as if you get in a car, enter your destination into a GPS and begin travel, so to, this happens in life. We focus on where we want to go, we plug in our destination and then away we go.

Even if we decide to take a detour and find an alternate route, our GPS of life works to chart a new route towards our destination for us. We don't have to worry about it or think about it, the recalculating just happens. No matter what turns we take or what roads we choose, we still manage to arrive at our destination point.

Of course, the entire time we were taking an alternate route, we could have filled our self with worry. Yet, the worry would not have added anything positive to our trip. It would have not gotten us there any quicker. It might have made us feel the illusion of being productive but it would be an empty feeling. And even if we worried and felt as if we did not know where we were going, we still arrived at our destination.

In addition, if we would have focused on the worry of getting to our destination, we would have missed the sights and joys of the journey. The road would have become a blurred line to follow rather than something to experience. We would miss so much along our route.

It is not so important in life, if we know exactly what roads we will take. We all have a destination that we are traveling to. The most important part is that we begin travel and enjoy the journey. yes, there may be potholes, construction and detours, but our destination is what matters. It is what we want to keep our focus on. The destination is the intention and our focus on it, gets us there.

Puzzle Pieces Of Life

Sometimes it is hard to see in the moment, exactly why the pieces of life appear as they do. It is so easy to want to play Monday morning quarterback and claim we know what is best for us. We feel it is makes life much easier.

However, the more we go in and try to manipulate the puzzle pieces of life, the more we delay getting the image to appear. We often worry and fret about how things are going and what pieces of the puzzle we should play. When, in all reality it does not matter.

The pieces of the puzzle of our life fit together in an exact way. They are not interchangeable. There are none that are missing. All are properly cut and shaped to fit into the puzzle as they are meant to. So as much as we may try to force a piece into a spot for which it does not belong, we have to realize there is one spot for each piece.

Allowing the puzzle of our life to unfold and come together will give us the opportunity to see the bigger picture. We do not need to fight it. It will show up as we place the pieces together. If it looks like a piece does not fit at that particular moment, all is fine. The piece will have an opportunity to fit into the puzzle when the timing is right.

All we need to do in our lives is show up and be present. Follow our hearts as we become more consciously aware of who we are as current puzzle pieces and how we fit together. Allowing our life to unfold in the manner it needs to, will give us the complete picture. It will happen in the moment that is meant to be.

All is well, All is well
Don't worry about your life
It is unfolding as planned.
Follow you heart and life will unfold
Each moment is but a step forward
All is well, All is well
Don't worry about your life
It is unfolding as planned.

Concerns And Worry

Are you worried and concerned about things in your life? If you're like I am and probably many others, why not try this exercise. Find a quiet place in your life and make a list of all things that concern you or you are worried about. Nothing is too great or too small to list. It doesn't have to be a complete thought or sentence. It could be just words, pictures or however you choose to record it. Allow yourself time to list everything you are concerned about. Than consider the following thought in helping you to release and let go of these worries and concerns. It is easy to worry about the things in life we are concerned about but sometimes we forget we can release these as well.

Here's the thought to consider after you have listed your concerns.

What if I released my concerns today to the Angels and just let these things go? For I know that the more I worry about these things, the more it robs me of precious energy. I cannot control them. If I let them control me, than I have allowed myself to become their slave. What if I released my concerns today to the Angels and just let these things go? Trust them. Trust the Angels.

Release It, Let It Go

Often there are times in my daily life when I just struggle to let go of things. I give lip service that I actually do let go, but if I was honest, I would have to own up to not letting go completely. Even if I manage to let go of most of the situation, there is usually a part that I cling to. Sometimes, that is a small part but it truly says I did not release it and let it go.

It could involve situations that happen online or through communication with people I know. It may be experiences with people in public places or in work situations. Often it involves financial stress and worry like paying the bills. In all of these circumstances, I observe myself worrying, holding it in and clinging to that which I cannot control.

While the illusion of control probably gives nourishment to my mind, it seems never to be in short supply. Although I have made great strides in working through this, I know that to release situations in life and let them go, is not easy. I'm not saying it is impossible but it has taken much work to get as far as I have gotten.

It does seem like I continually forget that I am not in this world alone. I have help, support and love from people around me as well as the angels. I've been a witness many times to all of this and yet, I still try to face life on my own. I act as I am in a void apart from everyone and as if I have to go it alone.

While I know control issues date back to prehistoric times in my life, they are not healthy and balanced for me. I can feel the control, worry and stress build up in my shoulders, neck and back. It robs me of precious energy in my day and alters how I view my life. As much as I want to let go of the control, I find myself attracted to it as a tempting and seductive desire. It is like I allow it to be chained to my neck as I attempt to drag it through my life.

The question then becomes, how do I let it go? How do I release it? I would think that I first need to recognize when I'm not giving up control. Unless I know that control is in play, how would I be able to give it up?

The next part of this would be to acknowledge it and allow it to be there with me, so that I can learn what it is that I need to learn. By keeping myself in the observer mode, it may have a great deal of wisdom to share with me. By allow it to be in the current moment, I have now taken the power back from it. I have empowered myself instead of being manipulated by it.

The final step would be to find out why I wish to hold on to this moment. What is in it for me? When I can truly be in this space of awareness and the current moment of now, then I will have the option to let go and release it.

With the help of the angels and the support and love of people around me, I will find the energy boost to do this. It will be the ultimate spark to allow this to happen. It will allow me to remember the magical sense of wonder in life and to fully embrace it.

Nausea - Symptoms Of Stress, Part 6

This is Part 6 of 9 Part Series - Nausea

Wow, nausea! I so remember this and am moving past a lot of this in my life. One of the quickest things I always noticed when I was under stress was how it affected my stomach. Often I would be nauseated or sometimes actually vomit and there were far too many times when my stomach would seem so jittery.

In fact, most of us often talk about how some situation makes us feel in our stomach. It is a common thing and if there is one connection made between stress and trauma with the body, it is the stomach. However, too many times people attribute it to what they eat or some unknown flu bug that they think they have. Much of the time, stress and trauma play a major role in it. Sometimes a result of stress leads to migraine headaches and one of the results is that people feel nauseated or actually vomit.

According to the article on yahoo.healthy.com, 9 Surprising Symptoms Of Stress, nausea is a direct result of worrying, stress and anxiety, according to the author of “Addicted To Stress”. "Stress can upset the stomach, and nausea can be a byproduct of worry," says Mandel.

If your anxiety is causing nausea, try this trick that Mandel swears by: Let tepid water run over your fingers; it's believed to keep nausea at bay.

Of course the more we try to stop these uncomfortable feelings and physical sensations, the more we are adding to them. If we stop and acknowledge them, then work to alleviate what is causing them, our bodies will be much better in the long run and so will our minds.
