So, without further ado, here's Marie!
So, I am a natural girl. I love nature. I love (almost) all that it has to offer. I don’t like bugs and snakes very much (!) but I am learning to coexist, and I continue to learn more about them all the time.
I was a professional vocalist, singing for weddings in a band with my husband Mike from the time I was 18. I retired from live vocal performances several years ago to devote more time to my business and my family.
I currently have 6 dogs, I am a professional dog trainer, and I compete in dog sports. I do my best to focus on the positive, learn from my mistakes, and to be compassionate in all areas of my life.
I grew up with and have lived with dogs and cats my whole life. My pets are like my children, and I treat them so well that my husband teases me that he wants to “come back” as one of my dogs someday!
I began a journey to learn about natural home remedies when I found I was super sensitive to chemicals and additives. I became “allergic” to milk for many years, dealing with horribly itchy hives and waking up to my face swollen if there was even a drop of dairy in anything.
I had to make a big change and it was very challenging and frustrating! I learned to read food labels. I took many courses, I read and researched as much as I could, and I experimented with all kinds of remedies on my own.
The ones I find effective I continue to use, and some I sell here at my home business. I try everything I can on myself before I use it on my pets. If a product changes and becomes ineffective, I simply stop using it and find something that works better. I love to learn new things and expand my horizons.
I am writing here to share my experiences, the good and the not-so-good. I hope my journey can be of some help to you!
