I first met Barbara back in 2010, when she offered to give me a Reiki session. I’ve had good Reiki sessions and some that didn’t do much, but what I experienced with Barbara was on a level all its own. I knew that she was special, and that she possessed healing gifts that she had just begun to explore – and explore them she has over the past seven years, working with and learning from Dr. Paul Canali at Miami’s Evolutionary Healing Institute.

So, without further ado, here's Barbara!
Here’s a little more about Barbara, in her own words:
“I am a happily married woman of 22 years, and have been blessed with a very loving and kind husband. My daughter is 31 and lives in Gainesville, Florida. My son of 22 years committed suicide on November 8, 2012. He would have been 27.
I have such a strong desire to help others to heal, and in doing so, I found that it helped me to heal as well. I understand what it feels like to be in pain, be it physical or mental, and this has motivated me to help others.
My life journey has brought me to a deep understanding that life is not just what we see with our eyes, but more about what we discover and learn along the way. It’s taught me that there is a deeper meaning and purpose to our lives, and it is up to us to discover it.
It’s taught me compassion in a way I never dreamed possible, as well as a strong desire to help others find a deeper meaning and purpose to life than what one experiences through pain. I have learned that pain is our teacher, not the enemy, and I have learned that love is very powerful!
I have also learned that we can heal beyond our wildest dreams.”
In addition to her work at Evolutionary Healing Institute, Barbara has a BS in psychology, and previously worked as a Nuclear Health Physics Technician. Barbara is a Reiki Master and a trained Esthetician, and she also completed a course in Yuen Energetics. She feels a strong connection to nature, which helps her through the dark moments in life.
I know that Barbara will make a great addition to our team, and I hope that you will feel the same.
