I loved this movie, yet I'm so tired of the fantasy world that everyone tries to mold into reality. It was a movie. Yet, too many are making it as if it was real life predictions. Maybe I"m just different than most, but again, it was just a movie. I doubt the writers set out to accurately predict what life would be like in the future.
The more important thing I saw in this was how their life and the events depicted in the movie were not all about politics 100% of the time like today. I believe they made reference to Ronald Regan being president, but that was about all I can remember.
I bring this up, because today everything we see, hear, and do is about politics. We have become so one dimensional in life, that we are missing life. We can't see the forest for the tree.
Hopefully at one point, this world will go back to what matters and it isn't politics. I doubt if you're in the last few moments of your life, you will be worrying about the latest political story of the day or who is winning or losing. Most likely you'll discover what truly matters.
When I almost left this world for good, I learned what truly mattered. It wasn't the 99% of the junk that most people worry about and are willing to fight and die for each day.
Its time to wake up world. It is time to see that there is much more to our day then following blindly what any news media station says or what is shared and liked on social media. It is time to go back to the essence of life and become one with ourselves and everyone around us.
I believe we can all be much more than we are, but we have to get real about it. It is a time when the future of this civilization depends upon us treating one another as human, not as something that is less than human.
It is time to stop allowing the news media and social media feeds from controlling our day and our mindset and outlook on life. If you don't believe how much this happens, try turning off your news consumption for a month and see how things look.
At the end of the day, we need to learn what matters. We need to understand the things that are truly important. It is the essence of life and being human, not the consumption of what we are led to believe or the products we consume.
Let's discover what it truly means to be human, not what it means to be a well informed zombie who follows the latest winds of the day.
Maybe we need to go back to the future to catch up with ourselves and start becoming who we are truly meant to be in this life.
