Sometimes this blog is just a personal journal space for me. Maybe these posts that I write which are more personal, connect with others and maybe they don't. If they don't connect with you, feel free to stop back tomorrow for something different.
I have a dream. Yes, I do. It may be nothing more than a dream at this moment, but its my dream. Ever since I was a little kid, I always loved being in a car going down the highways and seeing all there was to see. There was never a shortage of trees and hills and roads and everything in-between.
I love all of it and to me there is nothing like peace and freedom getting out on the road for a road trip. On top of that, I love to take pictures. The pictures help connect me to the moments of joy that I find when I travel.
So, my dream is that if I could quit my job right now, I'd take off with nothing but my suitcase (and some munching goodies), my camera and a good map or my GPS. I wouldn't even worry about where I was going. I'd just go. Each day, I would take pictures and then at the end of the day, I'd upload the pictures and tell a story of what I saw.
It sounds like so much fun and I don't know if I could ever pull it off or not. My camera is my painting canvas and my words. It would probably tell a story unlike anything I could ever write. At the very least, it would be nice to throw care and concern away, and just take off. Hit the open road!
Its a dream I have. Who knows - maybe one day it will be more than a dream.
