Authentic Products And Concepts

I try to be authentic in all that I do.  I don't just do things to get people hooked into something I am doing.  There are too many hucksters out there peddling all kinds of products and concepts that just don't pass the sniff test.  I am not one of those.

What I do has to be authentic and it has to be something that fully makes a difference in the lives of others.  If it just purports to make a difference, but there is no proof in the pudding, then I pass.  I'm just not a person to engage in that behavior.

While I struggle sometimes to implement the vision I see, I'm not going to stoop down to the low level of hocking a product to the lowest common denominator.  I've had people try to get me to sell and do all kinds of things, and I just shake my head at all of it.

I see people with inadequate training going out and selling health solutions when they have no clue what that means.  There is a reason for higher level training.  It gives you an understanding of why your product or service may be good or not.

We have serious problems in this world and we need serious solutions for them, not something that is snake oil.  Snake oil sales people have been around since the beginning of time, but these days with the advent of the internet, their reach has expounded dramatically.

If you want to get my attention, stick to something that is proven or can be proven.  Don't come at me with another MLM that is going to save the world if you sign up only 2 or 3 of your friends and family.  Don't come to me with things that everyone else is already doing in a crowded market place.

Instead, be authentic.  You will get nothing less than that from me.  It has to be a proven concept and it has to be repeatable.  I know that 85% of the products and concepts out there don't measure up.

Let's make the world truly a better place.  Let's help solve issues, not add to the misery by soaking people for their last dime in hopes that this miracle will cure their life!

Don't Jump On The Wagon Going Over The Cliff

We are so locked into what we believe in life that if someone presents anything but this conclusion, we bring the claws out.  We don't dare let anyone tell us anything different then what we believe.  We don't dare let anyone present something that doesn't fit into our crucible.

It is my way or the highway thinking in this country and world that is taking us down into the depths of the dark ages once again.  Either you follow what I tell you to do, or you will perish or you're stupid and ignorant.  This is what is going on in our world today whether we want to believe it or not.

No, it isn't in some other remote part of the world we have never been.  No, it isn't by some other culture or race that we know next to nothing about but what the media and politicians tell us to think.

This happens every day by those with a dogma or belief system.  Even the ones that can't see they have a belief system, they are as much of a problem as the ones who know they do.  It happens as a result of followers gulping down the poisonous kool-aid as if it is the only sustenance in the world.

Through time, we've not welcomed new concepts.  We've all gone to our own little caves and acted as if we had the facts.  Those that believe like us, we embrace.  Those that don't believe like us, we shun.  Yet, we proclaim to the world how right we are and how much we are enlightened and accept the beliefs other people hold dear.

Unfortunately, each and every one of us are locked into our own paradigms.  When we can't explain things fully for people to understand, we retreat back into the safety of our paradigm.  It is the paradigm that we hold on to so tightly that is choking the air out of our lungs.

Question all that is said.  I don't care who the person is or how popular they are.  Question them and if you aren't satisfied, continue to question them.  Don't accept what they say because its the popular thing to do and everyone has jumped on the bandwagon.

If you saw a wagon heading toward the cliff and everyone jumped on, would you jump on to the wagon?  If you tried to tell the same people that they were heading towards a cliff and they shunned you, would you stop trying to tell them?

In all reality, we as humans are like the wagon going towards the cliff.  Yet, everyone thinks that you have to jump on and be part of their group.  If you don't, they laugh and wail at you, but when you see they are going over the cliff, you can only weep in sadness for them.

Let's expand our awareness not by locking ourselves into religion or science or beliefs, but by recognizing that we are doing this.  Let's expand our consciousness by letting go of all that we think is truth so we can find truth.  Let's expand who we are by learning what it means to become human, not just one of the group riding over the cliff in the wagon.

People Say They Care

They say it!  They proclaim it!  That is, people say they care.  They tell people how much they care and that they will always be there for others.  Unfortunately, most of the time, this is no more true than a snake wanting to make friends with you through a snake bite.

I know, there are some that actually do care.  They actually practice what they preach and do what they say.  Unfortunately they are few and far between in our day.  There is just too much lip service.

My father loved to pound his chest and say, "you're family will always stand beside you no matter what!"  Well guess what, that was a big pile of horse manure. (No offense to horses everywhere for that statement).  They were just like the ones that say they care.  It was all lip service.

I'm so tired of seeing how many people say one thing, but practice another.  We have all kinds of friends on social media and we can connect with one another in a moments notice, but in all honesty it is a facade.

We can howl about the latest political moment or scream about the injustices all around us and that becomes our mantra of affirmation. Yet, we can't even take the time to truly show others that we care.  We are too busy running from one news story to the next, one tragedy to another, or one escape of zombies to another.

If something happened in the world tomorrow that brought everything to a standstill, I don't think most people would even remember how to be there for one another.  The only thing they would be screaming for is the next political circus or news story.

Being human and caring for one another would not even rank on the "care and concern" meter.  It would show the empty words we practice.  It would show just how fake we are as a society.

It is time to put down the computer and smart phone.  It is time to quit chasing after false reality glimpses of zombies and TV.  It is time to stop coming up with more woo woo and religious fanaticism.

I'm afraid if we don't start learning to care about one another, we're going to all fall off the cliff and not even see it is coming.  Hopefully we will wake up before that day comes.
