Interact With Our Biology

Interact With Our Biology
All too often, we see health care and healing as something that sends us to a doctor looking for a diagnosis and pill to alleviate our symptoms.  Unfortunately, this is not healing, although it is the mainstream thought in our society.  Healing and health are much more than a short term fix of taking a medication or going through a procedure.

While I understand that many will agree with this to a certain point, many of those same people will fail to fully grasp what this means.  In the same respect, there will be many that completely disagree because their paradigms prevent them from seeing something different.  Unfortunately, it is only at a point where we are sometimes brought to our knees before we begin to wake up and shift our paradigms that we so fervently cling to in life.

I do not write these words because it is some concept passed down to me.  I write these words because I have seen first hand how when we interact with our biology, we truly heal ourselves.  It is at this moment that we find the true essence of our pure self and we connect to that which helps us evolve through the pain or difficulty into a greater awareness of consciousness.

Final Thoughts On Unlimited Abundance

If anyone checks out this program, I want to help make it a successful experience.  No, I don't work for Mind Valley or Christie Marie Sheldon.  I'm just a person that wants to help people help themselves and I know from first hand experience, just how difficult abundance can be.  After all, at one time in my life I went through bankruptcy, and it has been a struggle from that point forward.  I know many are hurting in our country and throughout the world, so I want to help.

One of the most common missteps that I see people make is thinking that if they listen to all the recorded sessions as quickly as they can, it will get them further.  Actually, I think it will knock you on your butt and do more harm than good.  These recordings are about helping you shift your energetic frequency and sometimes we need to be patient and allow ourselves to shift.  If we try to do it all at once, it is like getting in a car with stick shift and going from 1st gear to 4th gear without the gears in between.  Each recorded session will affect you differently, so give yourself time to integrate it and absorb it.

Many times when I was first going through the Unlimited Abundance program, I would listen to the sessions 2, 3, and even 4 times.  If I found myself zoning out completely or feeling a little off, I'd go back and listen to it again.  If you gauge how you feel, you will be able to tell when you need to go on to the next recorded session.  There were times as well that I needed to set it aside for a few days and let my mind and body catch up as my energy was shifting.

What Have I Learned About Unlimited Abundance

What Have I Learned About Unlimited Abundance
Sometimes we don't know as much as we think we know until we dive in and begin to open our eyes.  I have learned a great deal about unlimited abundance since I first started on this journey.  I was very resistant when I first started out, but I have finally begun to learn the pieces I needed to for my life.

Abundance is about personal transformation and growth.  It isn't a get rich quick scheme or walking up to an ATM and requesting money.  It is more than that.  It is much more than that.  When you embark upon the unlimited abundance journey, you will be changing and transforming your life, much like I have.

Abundance is about finding your purpose in life and aligning with that.  It is about living in this moment, while not worrying about everything that could happen or has happened or maybe will happen.  It is about being here with yourself and following your heart because your heart will lead you in the right direction.

Removing abundance blocks is essential in order to fully tap into abundance in your life.  The more blocks we have, the less we can see.  Throughout our life, we have built walls up block by block only to now realize that we can't see beyond the wall.  Until we begin to remove those abundance blocks, we will never see beyond the wall.

Daily Angel Meditations February 25

Daily Angel Mediattions

Another website that I have created and write for daily is filled with positive and uplifting messages of growth and awareness.  It is called Daily Angel Meditation and is created from my morning meditations with the angels.  As I take time out in the beginning of my day, I record whatever comes to me.  I start out with a blank piece of paper and no preconceived ideas of what to write.  I then allow the words to fill the page, connecting with what my angels have to say.

Here are selected blog posts beginning the week of February 10, 2013.  I have tried to summarize them briefly and give the actual link to them.  To visit the website, just go to DailyAngelMeditation.com .

You Can Heal Conversion Disorder

You Can Heal Conversion Disorder
Trying to explain that you can heal from conversion disorder, not just manage the symptoms is difficult. I firmly believe that if the world begins to understand conversion disorder and how it can be healed, it will cascade throughout civilization for all other health conditions. It is just not easy communicating this point because it takes a shift in awareness to understand it and to step out of one's own paradigms and beliefs. - Don Shetterly

Manifesting Abundance Affirmations

Manifesting Abundance Affirmations
Sometimes one of the simplest things we can do is the thing we always forget to do.  Abundance affirmations can really help manifest new things into your life.  Let's face it - sometimes it isn't easy changing yourself and working towards a greater consciousness in life, but affirmations can keep us on the right track.  They keep us going when the going gets rough.

After a long time of searching for affirmations that truly fit, I think I finally found affirmations that help manifest abundance for me.  It doesn't do me (or most people) any good to just recite something that doesn't have a visceral connection to the words.  It needs to be something that grabs you from a gut level and almost brings you to tears as you meditate on the words .

One of the first affirmations I started using came out of a healing session I had.  When I was complaining about the job I had, the healer cautioned me that what I was saying through my thoughts and words was what I was attracting.  Just like in the law of attraction, what we put out in our thoughts and words and actions, is what we are attracting back to our self.

Does Unlimited Abundance Work

Does Unlimited Abundance Work
If you are looking for a blog post or review from me stating that I made a million dollars the next day, you're most likely going to be disappointed.    I am very honest in what I write on this blog, so if it doesn't work, you will not hear me claiming that it does.

If you want to know whether Unlimited Abundance works, then I will tell you without a doubt that it does!  It works on the level of personal transformation and releasing energetic blocks.  Unlimited Abundance is a program that helps to transform you from the inside out while connecting to abundance for your life.  If you are unsure of what I mean by abundance, please read my first blog post in this series. (insert link)

I see people all of the time who get discouraged because it appears they wanted something that was going to deliver a million dollars to their bank account the day after buying the program.  There is nothing out there that is going to do that, but there are plenty that promise you the world and every galaxy from here to eternity.  I'm serious about this because I see this mistake made over and over and I don't want people to make that same mistake.  Like I said at the beginning of this blog post, I am very honest as to the things I write on this blog.

My Experiences With Unlimited Abundance

My Experiences With Unlimited Abundance
All too often, there are things in this world, and the new age movement, that just make my head spin.    When it comes to my experiences with unlimited abundance, I can't help but wonder about some of the individuals and organizations out there.  Instead of abundance becoming a spiritual practice of awakening to a greater consciousness, it ends up being a buzzword of commercialism.  Abundance is much more than this, but all too often, it is only what we see.

Abundance is not just about making a wish list and selecting items that you "WANT" for your life.  Most likely, many of us did that as children, and we hoped that Santa Claus brought us what we wanted.  However, that's not abundance in my opinion.  What you want and what you need for your life's purpose are two different things.  In my view, abundance lines up with your life's purpose and how conscious and aware you are, not what you think you want for your life.

The first time I became acquainted with Christie Marie Sheldon and Unlimited Abundance through Mind Valley, I did not embrace it.  In fact, at that time, the cost was around $999 for the Unlimited Abundance program.  While I do realize that at first, it was more of a limited one on one program for a large group of people, it was still way beyond my budget.  After all, in my mind I can't help but struggle to reconcile how someone that needs financial abundance is able to spend $999 on a program.  Regardless of how great it may be or how many people will benefit, if you don't have that kind of money lying around, how do you participate? It becomes an exercise in futility.

My Unlimited Abundance History

My Unlimited Abundance History
From time to time, I have tried various programs and read many different books on this subject.  It was an attempt to help me discover unlimited abundance in my life and find my way through the maze of discovery.  Some of these things I tried helped take me to the next level, while some of them infuriated me and got me nowhere.    There are so many out there that purport to have the answers to unlimited abundance, but in my view there are few that actually deliver.

One of my early experiences several years ago was with the book by John Randolph Price, called "The Abundance Book".  It was a small book with little tidbits and snippets of writing that helped you to understand more about abundance and what was holding it back.  In many ways, I think it began to help me understand this more, but there was not enough substance to it, to understand fully.  It was a meaningful book that advanced my awareness and consciousness with abundance, but not one that really changed my life.

The Lesson Of Grace In Teaching

The Lesson Of Grace In Teaching - The Mathematical Yawp
I don’t have to be “the best”.  I can stop being so hard on myself.  I can have a healthy ambition without competition: striving towards goals, without having to compare myself to other people.  I can be happy for another person’s success.  I can be appropriately open and authentic---I don’t have to fear showing weakness.  Because my worthiness isn’t earned, there’s no need and no room for pretense.  I can stop worrying about what others will think of me, if I believe the lesson of grace. - The Mathematical Yawp Blog

Unlimited Abundance - If Money Wasn't An Issue

Unlimited Abundance - If Money Wasn't An Issue
If you are like I am, most likely you struggle with finances.  While finances don't necessarily equate to the same thing as abundance, if you don't have money, it's hard to see it any other way.  I've struggled for years in my life with the issue of money, and of course I grew up in a house where money or abundance were never enough.  From the cold, barely-heated farm houses in Iowa, to the struggle to have adequate food to eat for meals, money and abundance were always a problem.

Behind the money woes of life, I know there are many emotional wounds to heal.  It has not been an easy road, but for the first time I think I am making progress.  The Unlimited Abundance program with Christie Marie Sheldon that I will discuss later, has helped me to begin moving past these issues and transform my life.  However, the reason I'm writing this is to help others that may be saying some of the same things I'm saying here in what I write.

There will be several discussions in this series on my unlimited abundance journey, including things that I have experienced firsthand, stuff I have learned, and how my life has changed as a result.  This journey is a life changing transformation.  It was not a quick fix for me and I suspect it is not a quick fix for most people.  Although everyone wants abundance now, it is a process that has to unfold in each person in their own way and in their own time.

Treating Others With Grace

Treating Others With Grace
I recently read a blog post shared by a friend on Facebook that was touching and moving and made you think.  The blog post was The Lesson Of Grace In Teaching.  All too often it seems like we are all focused on destroying one another to get ahead or to show others that we are somehow superior.  However, we often miss the mark when it comes to treating others with grace. While the blog post I'm referencing here is about teaching, I believe it applies to every facet of life and how we treat others.

Many years ago, I struggled hard with math and in fact I have written about it at times on this blog.  If you would like to read these earlier posts, you can check out the topic, Math Is Hard.

During a time where a family member was raping and abusing me, my 6 year old mind and body could not grasp the concept of first grade math.  The teacher did not know what to do with me and so she would put me in the corner of the room with scissors, glue, construction paper and tape just to have fun doing whatever I wanted to do during math class time.  As long as I kept myself entertained and quiet, she was happy.  Unfortunately when my parents found out, I ended up being moved back to Kindergarten.  I don't recall most of this, but I wonder if the teacher would have treated me with a little more respect or even the family member that was abusing and raping me stopped this behavior, would things have turned out differently?

Are We Alone

Are We Alone
This may freak some people when they read this, but I feel it is important to share these things.  I have talked about them from time to time, but they just seem more important now for some reason.  There have been people in my life that have talked about UFO's and for the most part I dismissed them.  It wasn't that I disbelieved it as much as I was not ready to believe them.  I'm not sure if I am still ready to believe them or not.

Of course, many years ago there were things that I accept now which I vehemently denied.  In fact, a couple of times I stopped talking to people because I thought they were plain nuts, only to find out later that I was the one who was nuts!  I think for each of us, we have to determine what we accept as beliefs for our life and what we do not.  However, I will tell you that the more we hold on to some hard and fast belief, the more we need to really evaluate it because more than likely there is something we are blocking from our own conscious view.

Are we alone?  I don't know if I am qualified to answer that question.  However, there are many who claim to see things that the majority of us do not see.  I'm moving closer to the point of saying we are surrounded by other dimensions that we know very little about and that we allow our consciousness to connect to in our life.  In a short answer to this question, I don't think we are alone, but that is mostly my opinion and not based upon any hard evidence I can offer to you at this point.

Healing From The Core

Healing From The Core
This can be one of the most difficult parts of the human experience.  We all want to heal ourselves and lead a more fulfilling life, but sometimes healing from the core is beyond our desire and comprehension.  It is easy to subscribe to feel good thoughts, mantras, and happy filled pictures, but unless we go within and heal, we will be like the man that built his house upon the sand.

Most likely you have heard the story of the man who built his house upon the sand and when the storms of life came, it knocked it down.  There was no strong and solid footing, but for awhile in life, he had a beautiful home.  Much is the same way in our life where we build our days upon feel good thoughts and mantras or we numb ourselves to reality.  Either way, it is like building upon sand.  If you have ever been to the ocean and stood at the edge of the water, you will know for sure just how stable your footing is.

Because of our ego, it is often times difficult to go in and embrace our healing from the core.  It is much easier to make up excuses as to why we can't do this or plainly to just not go there.  Our ego attaches us to every distraction under the sun to keep us from doing this, including health conditions and new age practices or the busyness of our daily life.  The ego wants the control and it does not want to do anything that will give up any control in our life.  It is crafty and cunning, hoping to mesmerize you with shiny lights and neon signs.

We Believe We Are The Pain

We Believe We Are The Pain - Freedom From Pain - Peter Levine
We begin to believe and experience that we are the pain, and we then become the pain. Our brains activate this belief, and our experience confirms this because we have no way to process a different reality.  Freedom From Pain by Peter Levine (Pg 19)

This quote from his book is one of my favorites and it isn't until we begin to process the pain in a different, more conscious way, that we begin to see it for what it is.

Role of The Body In Mind Body Healing

Role of The Body In Mind Body Healing
All too often, we think we can only use half the healing power within us to heal our body.  We spend time and energy trying to think our way out of pain and discomfort, rather than dealing with it at its source.  Please do not mistake what I am writing here and think that I am saying your thoughts have no bearing upon healing.  In fact, I am fully aware like many healers, that your thoughts do help you heal.   However, they are only part of the equation.

Here's the thing that we as humans often forget.  The mind body connection is essential if anything is truly going to heal.  Notice though, that when you consider the mind body connection, it includes two parts.  The first part is the mind and the second part is the body.  Without both of these helping to heal someone's pain, discomfort, or experiences in life, it is like paddling upstream with broken oars.  While you may accomplish it to some degree, chances are you will wear out before you make it very far.

Cells remember what has happened to the body and they do communicate back and forth.  While we may block events and experiences from our minds, the cells in our body never forget.  In order for our mind to protect us, it numbs the body so we will have temporary amnesia.  The emotions and energy of these events then get locked into these moments, adding to the intensity the body endures.

Content With This Moment

Content With This Moment
Some days I look at life and I wonder how I'm going to make it through another day.  It isn't always easy and before you take pity on me, please realize that my life is doing much better than it once was.  In fact, these past few months have progressed along rapidly towards a better life.  In fact, if I just looked at this one moment in the continuum of life, I would have to say everything is fine.

Yet, deep down, I still struggle with parts of my life that have not unfolded.  Income is coming through, but I've sort of taken another dip in the income flow of my life.  My body is so much more free from pain, but in the last week through all the stress, it has kicked up considerably.  While I can see more of what life has in store for me or what attracts me to life, I still struggle to seem to find my way.  Last but not least, I still struggle with relationships, friendships, and feeling like I fit into this planet and civilization.

Again, I don't want pity.  I despise pity for myself because there are so many that have it much worse than I do.  Yes, I went through hell and back in my life, but I'm functioning and walking and talking and living!  That's more than some people can claim.  So, in many ways I have nothing to complain about, except that I want much more.  I'm driven to much more in my life, not in respect to material possessions, but more understanding, growth and awareness in myself and my role in the world.

Conversion Disorder Doesn't Mean You're Crazy

Conversion Disorder Doesn't Mean You're Crazy
So often, the medical establishment struggles to understand what this condition is about for their patients.  Even if they have an understanding of it, often they are at a loss of how to treat it.  In addition, the patient is often so scared and afraid that they are crazy or there is something wrong with them, that they fight against everything that will most likely help them heal.

Conversion disorder does not mean you are crazy!  It is a very real condition that exists and people who are suffering through it, are not faking the symptoms.  It is very frightening to experience and for many people, they struggle to find the way to heal from this.  It generally frightens the family to the point of wrongly thinking that something is unfixable in their child or family member.

If you have followed my blog for some time,  you know will know that I have been through a conversion disorder (also known as a functional neurological disorder).   Fortunately I found the courage and strength to heal from this, but many are still searching.  I happened to find the right people at the right time in my life to help me come through this and to really heal from this disorder.  If you see me now, you would have no clue that I have been through this.

I Am A Highly Sensitive Man

I Am A Highly Sensitive Man, The Highly Sensitive Person by Elaine Aron
This blog post was inspired by Rick Beldon in an article he wrote for the Good Men Project.  Like this blog post, his article was titled "I Am A Highly Sensitive Man".  While I have written somewhat on this subject, I think it is one that never gets enough attention.  I liked what Rick wrote on his article, and I thought I could pay no greater respect than writing about it myself.  Thank you Rick for opening up your life and sharing this because I can see from the comments, it has helped many people.

For most of my life, I knew I was a very sensitive person.  From the time I was a young boy until now, I always knew that I got emotional at the drop of a pin.  Unfortunately I grew up in a home and a society where this was not welcomed.  As a boy, I was whipped for crying and told to grow up and be a man.  Yet, my little eyes witnessed some horrific acts that were hard for me to not feel sensitive about in my life.

From the little animals I saw killed, crushed, or mutilated to how I saw other people treated, I felt their pain.  At the time I don't' think I realized just how much pain I picked up, but I do know that I would go to bed at night and cry into my pillow.  You dare didn't let anyone see you cry because that was just inviting trouble and probing questions that did not end well.

The Highly Sensitive Person

The Highly Sensitive Person by Elaine Aron
HSPs (Highly Sensitive Person) do take in a lot - all the subtleties others miss.  But what seems ordinary to others, like loud music or crowds, can be highly stimulating and thus stressful for HSP's.

Most people ignore sirens, glaring lights, strange odors, clutter and chaos.  HSP's are disturbed by them.

Most people's feet may be tired at the end of a day in a mall or a museum, but they're ready for more when you suggest an evening party.  HSPs need solitude after such a day.  They feel jangled, over aroused.

Most people walk into a room and perhaps notice the furniture, the people - that's about it.  HSPs can be instantly aware, whether they wish to be or not, of the mood, the friendships and enmities, the freshness or staleness of the air, the personality of the one who arranged the flowers.

Sometimes Life Is A Confusing Path

Sometimes Life Is A Confusing Path
This is one of those moments that I fail to understand what is going on in my life.  Sometimes a confusing path is what stares me directly in the face.  It is like pieces of my life come together and other pieces seem to either get in the way or they fall by the wayside.

It isn't easy to go down this path (a.k.a my life) because there is no rule book or procedure book to show me the way.  It isn't like I can go to page 123 and see what to do on any given day.  It isn't like I can go to any one person and ask for their advice, hoping to hear a clear cut answer to all my questions.

I realize the way forward is one that I must figure out on my own.  I realize if it was so simple that I did not have to grow into it, that it most likely would not help me learn and discover my path.  In many ways, it is all part of my growth, my healing, and finding my way into the life that I am called towards.  It is about me finding and discovering more of who I am.
