Seeing The Bigger Picture

Topanga Seeing The
Big Picture
I am often amazed at how many inhabitants of this world fail to see the bigger picture of life.  Whether it is through a news article in the media, a post I write, someone shopping in a store, or in a job, the big picture seems to be forgotten.  It seems that we as humans get so fixated on our one moment of our day, that we can't see two minutes in front of us, let alone the big picture.

When I write in this blog, it is more about sharing my experiences in life in a raw format to help get others to think and open up in their own life.  My entire thought process is that by using my life as an example, I can help others open up more fully to their life.  Sometimes knowing that someone else has walked in those shoes is what gives us the courage to investigate our own paths.

Yet, I get emails from people thinking that because of some blog post I wrote, they need to help me fix some part of myself.  I'm not talking about someone being supportive, but some of these emails are people really trying to tell me what I should do differently in life.  It always amazes me because they are not seeing the big picture.

Our Road Of Life Has Many Twists

Road Of Life
Grandfather Mountain, NC
It is amazing how our road through life takes many twists and turns. I usually try to observe and watch the path that I take. I've seen some detours in my life, some dead ends and some of those up the mountain roads. There have been the times that I felt like I was on a slippery when wet road or sliding down a ice and snow covered hill. All in all, there are times when the road is a scenic drive and then there are times when it is a road from you-know-where.

Sometimes it is so easy to concentrate on the current position we are at while on our own road of life. It is easy to look out the window and exclaim this is what life is all about in this moment. We may be screaming or smiling or hanging on for dear life and it is way too easy for us to think that this is all that life is.

However, we forget that life is not just this one part of our journey, but all of these parts put together. It is the sum total of our experiences, both good and bad, that bring us to this one moment today. If we had not traveled the other roads of our journey, we may not have come to experience this particular section.

Celebrate The Sound Of Silence

In our day, there are too many noises and distractions. Sure, we tune most of them out, but they are still there lurking in the shadows. I remember reading Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor's account of how aware she was of the noises around her. In fact, I remember her saying something about working sometimes while using ear plugs to drown out the noises.

I am one of those sensitive people when it comes to noises. My ears pick them up as it does simple sounds around me. Sometimes it is a contest between my cat and I as to who picks up more sounds. It is sometimes difficult for me to function in a day where I need to be creative or analytical and having sounds flood through my ears.

Children International Wins $50K From The Celebrity Apprentice

If you saw my blog post on March 13, 2012, (click this link), you'll see that Debbie Gibson won $50,000 for Children International on Celebrity Apprentice.  I'm so happy for the organization to win this money and I know it will greatly help them.  I cannot say enough good about Children International.  If you want to make a difference in the world in the life of one kid, check out their sponsorship. I have been with them since 1995 and I am not sponsoring my second child.

Anyway, here is an update to my previous blog post about the behind the scenes stuff on the Celebrity Apprentice, Debbie Gibson and Children International.  To read this update, click this link.

Prevent Cancer With Aspirn

Here we go again!  The latest rage in the news is that to prevent cancer, one must take aspirin daily.  Yep, the silver bullet, the magic potion that will make everything better.  Do I sound sarcastic?  Most likely I am because that is the way I feel when I see these "medical treatments' reported and regurgitated in the media as if there is no tomorrow.  No one considers the harmful long term effects of this practice, only the immediate hope to alleviate the fears of cancer.

Of course, you may be saying, but what if this truly works?  You may have a good and valid point.  However, why is it that we gravitate towards some type of medication we can take rather than taking an inventory of our life and how we live each day.  Ahhh, please teacher, I know the answer - pick me, pick me!  Could it be that instead of really getting to know our life, it is easier to just take the magic pill or potion that will make everything fine in our life.   It requires no effort on our part to get to know our body and learn how to take care of our body.

Okay, before I get carried away here in my sarcasm, let me make something crystal clear.  I'm not turning my nose up to medical discoveries, but I am challenging the status quo about what medicine really is and what health means to our body.  We fall for the slick marketing campaigns of the drug marketers instead of using our vast brain cells to really think and become aware.

Finding Freedom In Difficult Circumstances

Finding Freedom In
Difficult Circumstances
It saddens me every time I see someone going through very difficult moments of their life.  I've been through those same moments and I know how others feel.  I know the despair, the frustration, and the anger at life when things just seem to go nowhere.  I know how difficult it is to keep going even in the midst of courage, optimism, and determination.

The only thing I take comfort in is knowing that I have learned so much through these times.  At the moment I was in these difficult circumstances, it was almost impossible for me to see that.  Through each difficult moment, I have grown and evolved into a better person than I was before.  In all reality, that is what these moments are here for.  They are here to teach us and help push us through the lessons of life that we need to learn and understand.  Without these moments, would we really move forward?

I see too many people giving the appearance of wanting to help others struggling through these moments, but they do it through the space of their own pain and suffering, rather than helping the individual see a bigger picture.  Often people resonate with what others are experiencing and because they have not fully dealt with the pain residing in their own life from these moments, they push the other person to just move on.  They don't want the other person to be in that space because it reminds them of something that is still so painful to them.

Are Humans One Dimensional?

Manatees at Blue Springs Park
Are Humans One Dimensional?
The more I read news stories each day, the more I wonder about the species of humans on this planet.  It seems that we really limit ourselves in this world by focusing on singular thoughts and consciousness.  It is almost like we as humans are one dimensional. I find that to be a sad testament to the biology of humans.

We see this at play every day of our life.  The most benign conversation has politics interjected into it as if that is the only dimension that can exist.  If someone said the sun was shining, someone else would come along and say it was because of this politician or that politician.  The entire conversation would be one dimensional because in this case and many others like it, politics has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

You see this in medicine because even though there is so much we can do to heal our own body and keep it healthy, the majority of humans in this country think in one dimension.  If it is not about getting medical tests done, taking some prescribed medication, getting a medical procedure or finding some over the counter remedy, humans fail to see beyond this one dimension that it could be a potential healing remedy.  In all reality, most of these things do very little to cure or heal us, but yet we chase them as if they are the only answer to life's problems.  We don't venture into other dimensions of consciousness because we are one dimensional.

What Does Unified Therapy Do For Me?

What Does Unified Therapy
Do For Me?
A friend of mine emailed me to ask me just how Dr. Canali helps me in the sessions of bodywork that I get from him.  This is an account of a recent session I had with him in March 2012.  While it is difficult to completely describe everything that happens in a session, the results are amazing.

I'm not a person that runs away from going deep within and working on deep healing.  I believe the conversion disorder and paralysis I experience in 1991 is a very powerful motivator.  I desire to get to know more about myself and find the innermost part of my mind body that I am able to discover.  For me, it is about fully reclaiming every part of my body, not just settling for what is.

The account of this session is actually posted on my other website called Somatosync.com.  To read the blog post, click this link.

Somatosync is still under construction.  Slowly, but surely I am working on it and hope to be adding a lot more information and resources soon.

Triggered By The Silverware Drawer

Way back a long time ago, I was just a wee little boy.  Even before I could reach the sink, my father expected me to be able to wash dishes.  In order to do this, I had to pull up a chair to the sink and stand on it, so I could reach the sink with the dishes in it.  Getting dishes clean and doing it quickly was the only acceptable result, regardless of my age.  For some reason, my father would watch over me as a supervisor watches over their employees.  Keep in mind, I was a wee little boy.

One of the things that I would get in trouble for that is so clearly implanted in my mind was not getting a greasy pan clean enough or missing some other dish that still had food on it.  In those times, the punishment was severe and quick, usually being thrown into the cupboards or across the floor.

The rage in my father's eyes would haunt me day and night, as I tried to make sure I was as perfect as I could be.  The only thing I soon found out was that perfection was not enough because today's rules were changed in a moment's notice, often without warning.  It did not matter what today's punishment was for, because tomorrow it could be completely different.  In fact, it may be the complete opposite of what you were punished for, and that included the dishes.

The Piano My Mom Bought For Me

Relaxing Spa Music:
Mother's Day
Many years ago when I was only about 8 years old, I wanted to learn how to play the piano.  While there are many kids that say they want to do such things, I was one that just knew I had an attraction to the piano.  Keep in mind that I did not come from a musical family or relatives who were music.  If there were, I am not aware of them.

My mom wanted to make sure that I got every opportunity to play the piano.  When she was a little girl, she explained to me that she wanted to play the piano. However, her father would not buy her a piano because he needed the money to buy his booze.  So, for years she longed to play the piano and when I came along and expressed my interest, she made sure that happened.

Buying a $35 piano from a neighbor was my first piano.  It was a big upright piano that took several people to move it from the neighbor's garage into our house.  It did need a little tuning but overall, the sound that this piano put out was as beautiful as angelic music.  Even electronic keyboards do not measure up to the sound of this piano.

Are You Making Each Moment Count

Here is a great video that was forwarded on to me by a friend.  While I am not endorsing any of the products on the website that this video goes to, the video was very powerful and inspirational.  For this reason, I am including it on my blog.  What you decide to do what you see the video is solely up to you.

Some of the simplest things that we think don't really count in life, are the things that do.  I truly believe one person can make a big impact upon this world in a good way or a bad way.  It has been shown time and time again.  It is up to each one of us to have a positive impact upon the world.  We do this by being true to ourselves and authentic.

Consciously Connecting With Our Authentic Self

Consciously Connecting
With Others In This World

Do you ever go through your day thinking about how we treat others? Do you ever stop and consider just how you come across to all those you meet? If everyone stopped to consider that in a day, I'm betting we could change the world very quickly. Yet, we as a collective society tend to act as if nothing else matters and we are the only ones that exist in the world.

Our days of course are filled with demands upon our time, more stress than we should endure and all kind of challenges we face in our bodies. We have schedules that dictate we run at top speed from an early hour of the morning while we shuttle our children from one place to the next. We rush into work hoping to not be late so we can accomplish that report the boss needs by 9 am.

By the time, we're at the end of our day, all too often we are anything but kind and conscious to our fellow humans. Sometimes we can manage to put on a good demeanor and a happy face, but that is about it and it isn't authentic. We're just looking forward to some time sitting in front of the TV, resting our weary body and brain.

A Little Good News or Some Toxic Negativity

If you follow the news much these days you will see what a depressing entity it really is. Okay, depressive news is nothing new of course because I can remember many years ago when a song came out by Huey Lewis and The News, titled A Little Good News. Many in those days were sitting here and saying the same thing.

Maybe things have not changed that much overall and all we are looking through is just one tiny little blip in time. Maybe it is all a matter of perspective. In fact, it could be that we as humans tend to navigate toward negative news and actually attract it into our lives. In all honesty before we go blaming the news media, if we as humans didn't soak up the negative news, than the news media outlets would be publishing something different.

If you need evidence of that, just take a look at Oprah's new TV station, the OWN network. It is actually a great place with some uplifting and thought provoking programming. You don't come away from watching her network feeling like you have to take a bath to rid yourself of the toxic negativity. Of course there are some that would not listen to Oprah no matter what, but the shows I have watched on there are very good.

My Creativity Comes And Goes

Some days I find that I can create for hours on end and other days, it just plain sucks! My mind is one of those highly creative engines that runs almost nonstop. Sometimes in life, I have to beg it to stop and give me some rest.

Lately though, it is like the creativity is flooding my mind to the point of drowning. My creativity comes and goes almost as fast as the sun sets and rises. I love it when I can sit down and just write, paint, create music or come up with a million ideas all at once. However, usually when I go through very intense moments of this, I crash.

One of the ways I have been helping myself to efficiently be creative is getting plenty of down time and rest. I do this through relaxation and meditation even if it is only for 30 minutes. I am amazed that if I just stop for 20-30 minutes and totally let my mind and body let go, I can come back with much more energy and creative empowerment.

Creativity is where I find my greatest joy in life. It is the one thing that gives me more power and energy in my day than any other single thing I can do. There is a price of exhaustion that comes with it if I fail to manage it, but no other thing gives me greater satisfaction.

Time Change Hard On The Body

I feel for this country that constantly does the time change twice a year. Not only is it a major change in life, but now they have changed the date when we actually do this. Everyone wants to act like it is an innocent event of our life, but I submit, it is anything but innocent.

When people get into a daily rhythm of life, their body syncs up to that pattern. The brain produces chemicals to be awake, sleep and function based upon our patterns. Our routines give structure to when we eat and when we interact in this world. Yet, for some reason, we in this country think that putting our body in upheaval is a good thing.  Changing our body clocks is a major stress upon our body and our life.

I'm sure some are saying, it really isn't that big of a deal. Others most likely would think, you just need to suck it up and go on. However, the body is the truth detector and if you look around at the evidence in people after the time change, you will see just what I am talking about.

Our Body Is Numb To Life And Pain

To often in life, we don't truly feel the pain.  Yes, we have back pain, neck pain, shoulder or leg pain, but we don't truly feel the connection to our body. This may sound confusing and like it is contradicting.  Our body is numb to life and to pain. We often go through life stuffing our feelings and pain within us, rather than connecting with all of it.

It isn't easy to feel the pain.  It can be a challenge, but I will guarantee you that the more you stuff it down, the more it will harm you in physical ways you cannot even see in this moment.  You might think you can get away with it and you might think you've won over it, but in all reality, it is hiding and lurking below the surface.

Pain, trauma, stress and difficult moments of our life have an energy.  If this energy is allowed to find a residence within our body, it will create a crippling effect in our tissues.  Our cells and tissues are not meant to be storage places for the pain.  They are meant to release the pain and difficult moments.  It is biologically built into our body.

Believe In The Answers Within Me

Lately, it seems like some events in my life are happening at lightening speed.  If I am not careful and not watching for them, they can pass me buy without me noticing them.  It is interesting to observe and be part of in my life.  However, I find myself worrying about needless little moments and the minute I do, I feel the pains in my neck and arm show up full force.

All my life, I've been a worrier.  I worry about the good things, the bad things, and the things in between the good and bad.  No matter how much is proven to me that I do not need to worry, sometimes I feel like it is my profession and I'm at the top of my class.  Okay, I may be a little fictitious here, but in many ways, this is reality.

However, as I have been seeing lately, that what I allow my mind to focus upon, that is what begins to come together.  Maybe it is the fact that I don't want to believe I have the power within myself to create any part of my life.  All I have to do though, is look at the evidence from my past days and years.  It is sometimes hard for me to believe in myself even if the evidence smacks me in the face.

Harmless Traumatization

Even if you think some event in your life is a harmless traumatization, you may be fooling yourself. Trauma can happen in moments where we don't really see it. In a blog post I wrote for Somatosync.com, I detail such a moment in our cats.

Of course, it is not only the cats we should be concerned with, but our lives as humans. Our orange cat in this story, is just an example of how we do become affected by harmless traumatization.

I hope you will check out my sister website called Somatosync.com. It is still under construction, but there is much more planned for it.

Debbie Gibson Wins $50,000 for Children International

Last night on the Apprentice, it was nice to see Debbie Gibson win. Yes, she won $50,000 for her charity which happens to be Children International. I have supported Children International for many years and I'm now on my second sponsored child. It is a wonderful organization that is truly legit and worthy. Check out the picture of my sponsored child below. His name is Erick and he is now 8 years old.

As far as the Apprentice goes, I really don't care much about it. The only reason I am following this show is because I knew she was playing to win money for Children International. Trump used to be someone I could look up to until he started in with his political tirades that I feel overstepped the boundaries of human decency.

We Have ThIs One Moment

We Have This One Moment

Some days it gets difficult keeping a perspective in life. Many things travel at different speeds that are out of our control. Other events take place and circumstances happen that give us little in the way of reaction. Some days, just taking a step in any given day can be a monumental accomplishment.

At times through my life, some of the simplest moments were the hardest. In those times, it felt like I was standing before the highest mountain range, trying to find a way to cross. I would study it and think about it and hope for it, but no magical path was there. It was all up to me to find the way.  I had to take action.

Some days in life, it is difficult to understand what we are up against. Some times, it is difficult to even see what lies ahead, let alone what it looks like in the moment we are currently living. Often the picture is fuzzy, unclear and uncertain. What makes it more clear and certain is anyone's guess in that moment and something each of us must find in our own way.

Connecting And Observing A Cardinal

Throughout the day, I love to look out the windows from my office and just observe what I can see. I can't imagine being locked up inside a building with no windows. I remember an office in Miami that I worked in that was located by the airport. The outside walls were large windows all the way around and so you could not only see the airplanes landing, but you could observe so much.

When I looked out the window yesterday, I saw this amazing colored bird perched up in the tree. The color of it almost was a deep orange with a hint of red. The beak and head area looked as if it had a full black beard growing. At the top, it almost appeared to have some type of plume or fancy hat. Later, I found out it was a Cardinal and most likely a male Cardinal.

The bird was so beautiful to watch and it stayed in the tree for a long time, only to briefly move to the fence before it was scared away by a noise. I rarely see a bird like that and I don't think I've ever seen a Cardinal that close. The colors were so deep and rich on it. It seemed like nothing else mattered that day for this bird.

Delicious Quinoa And Vegetables

Vegetables and Quinoa

Based upon a friend's recommendation, (Trevor Marty) we tried something that was very delicious tonight for supper. In fact, when we were in the store looking for it, one very helpful lady came up and shared how delicious it was and how much she liked it. She was so kind and gladly pointed us in the product she thought was the best one to buy.

Quinoa is a high protein grain that is delicious and wholesome. It is not hard to prepare and a half cup of it was plenty for two of us. It only took about 15 minutes to prepare and I did not add any flavoring to it. I just added 1 cup of water to the 1/2 cup of Quinoa and followed the directions on the package.

We took several different vegetables and cut them up, placed them in a frying skillet and cooked them in coconut oil. We used broccoli, asparagus, carrots, green pepper, yellow squash, and celery. Again, I did not add any flavoring or salt or anything. The only addition was the coconut oil.  Coconut oil is much better for you than butter, despite being high in saturated fat.

Healing Starts When You Know You Are Not Alone

The other day I was watching the interview of Paula Dean on the show, Oprah's Next Chapter.  Regardless of what others say, I love Paula Dean.  To me, she is an inspiration in life because she went through some very horrible moments in life and managed to make something of it.  Maybe her life isn't perfect to everyone, but in my mind, she comes across to me as a down home person who is genuine.  Please keep in mind that this blog post was written before the more recent news articles about her surfaced in the news.

On the show, Oprah was talking with Paula Dean and asked her a question about how she recovered from anxiety and agoraphobia.  I myself went through a time where I was afraid to go beyond the doors of my house.  It was miserable and difficult.  At times, I still want to hide, but now I try to stop that when it happens.  In many ways, I can really identify with Paula Dean.

Online Energy Clearing Session For Unlimited Abundance

Just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of the free energy clearing webinar tonight (March 8) at 9 pm EST.  If you are struggling with abundance and making it in life, this may be something that will help you.  If you read what I have written on this, you will see how far I came from the first time I saw this program.  To read my review of my progress to date on this program, click this link.

At first, I was like many where I thought it was all hype and no substance.  The first time they offered this course was extremely expensive and there was no way I could do that.  I felt let down and demoralized.  You can read more about that from everything I have shared on my blog.  Then I finally bit the bullet and with the help of a friend, I purchased the system.  Now, I am beginning to clear the blocks of abundance in my life and I am beginning to see unlimited abundance in an entirely new light.

Evolving In Awareness And Consciousness

Evolving In Awareness
And Consciousness

Have you ever wondered what is out there? You know, the place beyond your own consciousness. Have you ever wondered what it is that you have not seen or understood yet? I'm not talking about seeing little green men walking outside your front door or believing in things because that is what the community you belong to dictates through osmosis. I'm talking about consciousness, awareness and understanding.

We as humans are much more than we see in ourselves and much more than we realize. Life is not just about arriving or feeling like we have found our place, although these are parts of it. Life is about growing and evolving in awareness and consciousness. It is about discovering a deeper part of our self each and every day of our existence.

Trauma and Renewal Conference At Barry University

Trauma And Renewal Conference
Barry University, March 16, 2012

On March, 16, 2012, Barry University in South Florida will be holding its 17th annual Professional Conference. The topic this year is trauma and renewal: implications for research and practice. The featured speakers are Charles Figley, PhD and Kathleen Figley, Dmin.

I personally have never been to one of these, but it looks like a great event to attend especially if you work in the area of trauma. My good friend, Dr. Paul Canali is going to be one of the presenters at this event. The topic he will be speaking on is Healing Trauma And Chronic Pain Through Autonomic Re-Regulation and Somatic Awareness.

Dr. Paul Canali is the founder of Evolutionary Healing Institute and the originator of Unified Therapy. Through Dr. Canali's work, there is hope for people to heal as they discover the autonomic balancing reflex in their system. Unless trauma is released in the physical body and connected through the awareness of the mind, it will reside as potential energy searching for an exit route. If it is not released from the body, the exit routes can include anything from depression, anxiety, physical ailments, body pain to rashes, conversion disorders, sleep problems and many other situations. Dr. Canali has found a way to heal the body that is highly reproducible and is based upon scientific principles.

My Stroke Of Insight Book Review

My Stroke Of Insight
Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor

I've just found a favorite new book! This book is My Stroke Of Insight by Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor. I had not heard about Dr. Taylor until I saw her being interviewed by Oprah on OWN. When I heard what she had to say, I just had to get the book and I am sure glad that I did. It is an outstanding book in so many ways.

While My Stroke Of Insight is written by a stroke survivor, the application of this book fits into so many other places. I didn't go through a stroke, but I suffered paralysis from a conversion disorder. Much of what Dr. Taylor writes about, resonates highly with what I experienced. In fact, as I was reading through the book, there were some of those ah ha moments that made me take notice.

I'm amazed at just how resilient our brain is and how the different parts of the brain work together to give us life and the experiences we have. All too often we don't appreciate our brain enough for all that it does. We only get one of these biological organs and we need to take care of it.

Pain Helps Our Cells Communicate With Our Brain

Pain Helps Our Cells
Communicate With Our Brain

Has your body ever hurt and ached for what seems like no reason at all? Have you gotten up in the morning and exclaimed "my body hurts, I must have slept wrong"? Have you ever considered your job to be a pain in the neck while you are suffering through neck stiffness? While I could go on and on with examples, this hopefully helps you begin to see how our pains are connected to our brain.

Pain does help our cells communicate with our brain. If you think that is just a little too far fetched, than please read the first paragraph over. If that is still not convincing, start noticing the things you say when you feel pain. For when you see pain for what it is and you listen to how you react to it, the important story will be told.

On page 157 in the book, My Stroke Of Insight, Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor makes the following statement. "Pain is the tool our cells use to communicate to our brain that there is trauma somewhere in our body. Our cells stimulate our pain receptors in order to get our brain to focus and pay attention."

Stopping And Observing The World We Live In

Birds Outside My Window
Stopping And Observing

Those little things in life that we often miss can bring such joy, peace, and a moment of relaxation to our day. Yet, we so often walk right past them, not even noticing what is playing out before our eyes. It is like going to a symphony, and failing to see the orchestra playing, or visiting some tropical paradise and failing to see the sunsets, coconuts, and palm trees. These moments are all around us for a reason.

Many years ago when I was paralyzed from a conversion disorder, I remember sitting outside all weekend long at the Bridgeway Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was the first chance in weeks and even in years that I could just sit out and observe the world around me. I remember sitting there for many hours just listening, watching, and taking in everything that was there. It was as if I was part of all that was going on.

Does Christie Marie Sheldon Unlimited Abundance Program work?

About two months ago, I finally got to hear the webinar by Christie Marie Sheldon on Unlimited Abundance. If you read some of my earlier posts (click this link), you will see that I got a little cranky. My biggest complaint at that time was not being able to hear the webinar and then being inundated with sales emails from Mind Valley. It was like I was being forced to buy a program without even knowing what it was, and that was extremely offensive to me. Plus, at the time, the price of the program was $999 but now it is only $399. Never in a million years did I think my blog post I wrote about these frustrations would get as many views as it did.

This blog post is being written because I’ve had many requests to update my thoughts on the program. I am only into session 7 as I am really taking it slow. While I could probably listen to it in a few weeks time frame, I want to allow myself to grow and change. After all, it isn’t a contest to see how quickly I can listen to the entire program. I’m more interested in changing from the inside out.

At first, I thought this program was too good to be true. It sounded way too simple and in general, I was not in complete agreement with Christie Marie Sheldon on what unlimited abundance truly was. However, I have grown to have a great respect for Christie and this program.

The Power Of Our Heart

Institute Of Heart Math
Mysteries Of the Heart Video

I first heard about the Institute of Heart Math from the movie, I Am by Tom Shadyack. The Institute of Heart Math does excellent research into quantifying how the heart, the mind and body all work together in our emotional and physiological responses. I'm just amazed at all that they do and their research is on the forefront of science and our understanding of the body.

The video gives some cool facts that you may or may not know about the impact of the heart upon the body. It is an amazing part of our body that does much more than just pumps blood through our body.
